The meeting link is not shown on the public page. It is on your ticket page and in your ticket email.

When do I get my ticket after paying?

As soon as Paystack confirms the payment to us, usually within a minute. Your ticket is issued from that confirmation, not from the page you land on after paying.

Tickets are held for 10 minutes while you pay. If your payment lands after the hold ends and tickets are still available, you get your ticket. If they are gone, you are refunded automatically and we email you.

What happens if an event is cancelled?

Buyers are refunded to the original payment method. Refunds can take a few working days to show in your account.

Hosting an event

Who can host an event?

Anyone with an organizer account. Organizer accounts are opening soon. A host's first event is reviewed before it is listed.

How hosting works

How do I get paid?

Each organizer has their own Paystack subaccount. When someone buys a ticket, the money is split at payment time and your share goes to your bank account. Ariya never holds your money. You verify your bank account before you publish a paid event.

Can I host a free event?

Yes. Free events can be published straight away, and people claim a ticket with their name and email.

Can I put my event on my own website?

Yes. Paste one line of code and your event, or a list of your upcoming events, shows on your site. The embed only displays the event. Buying a ticket happens on Ariya, in a new tab.

How hosting works

How do I check people in?

Open the scanner link on a phone and enter the PIN for the event. Scan each QR code. A ticket that has already been used is flagged right away.

How hosting works

Can I change the date or venue after tickets are sold?

Yes. Everyone who holds a ticket gets an email about the change. You cannot lower the capacity below the number of tickets already sold.
