Terms

The short version of how Ariya works between you, the host, and us.

Last updated October 2026

Tickets

A ticket gives one person entry to one event. Each ticket works once, and a copy shared with someone else can only be used by whoever scans it first. Keep your ticket link private. If you lose it, use the resend form with the email you registered with.

Payments

Paid tickets are paid for in Naira through Paystack. The money goes to the host. Ariya does not hold it. Prices are set by the host and the price you see is the price you pay.

Refunds and cancelled events

If a host cancels an event, ticket buyers are refunded to the original payment method. Refunds can take a few working days to show. For anything else, the host's own refund policy on the event page applies.

Hosts

Hosts are responsible for their events and for what they say about them. We may remove an event that breaks the law or misleads people, and a host's first event is reviewed before it is listed. A host with paid sales cannot delete an event, only cancel it.

Reporting

Every event page has a link to report the event. Reports are read by a person. Send a report, or any question about these terms, through our contact page. The FAQs cover how things work.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that affects you, the date at the top of this page changes and we say what changed.
